Talin Zarookian

U.S. Department of Homeland Security

2018 fellow

Talin Zarookian serves as the Section Chief for Resource and Program Management for the National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program within the Transportation Security Administration’s Office of Security Operations. In this role, she oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of programmatic, budgetary, procurement, logistics and technology management activities required for program operations.

Talin joined the Transportation Security Administration in 2003 and prior to her current role, she held other positions working in the areas of security technology and technical training for the security officer workforce.

Talin earned her B.A. in Communication and her M.S. in New Professional Studies: Organizational Development and Knowledge Management from George Mason University.
