PMA Webinar Recording ‘Unlocking the People Potential of AI in Government’ Now Available

On April 4, the Performance.gov team hosted the PMA Webinar: Unlocking the People Potential of AI in Government. Loren DeJonge Schulman, Associate Director for Performance and Personnel Management at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) moderated a panel featuring Morgan Zimmerman, an AI Policy Analyst from OMB and Paul Shute, Assistant Deputy Under Secretary for Automated Benefits Delivery at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The event focused on the AI and Tech Talent Surge initiative including how different agencies are contributing to AI deployment and navigating the hiring landscape for tech and AI jobs within the government. Following the discussion, Kyleigh Russ from the Office of Personnel Management shared key hiring authorities agencies can use to attract AI talent and highlighted entry points for job seekers.
